Tobias Ackermann appointed as new CEO of censhare
Cologne, September 14, 2023 Change at the helm of censhare: Effective from October 1, 2023 Tobias Ackermann is set to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of one of Europe’s leading omnichannel content platform providers. The 43-year-old joins from Oracle Software, where he served as a member of the executive management team in Switzerland and acted as the Application Leader for complete sales operations in Switzerland and Austria. He succeeds Esther Donatz, who, after more than 28 years in the business, has chosen to conclude her corporate career and focus on her advisory and supervisory board mandates.
Before joining Oracle, Ackermann held various leadership positions at Sage Group plc, the market leader in integrated accounting, payroll, and payment systems. In his latest role, he led as the Country Manager Switzerland and Chairman of the Board (VRP) at Sage Schweiz AG. Previously, as the Executive Vice President – Worldwide Field & Digital Marketing and Vice President New Customer Marketing Europe, he spearheaded the development and implementation of national and international marketing strategies. Other professional milestones for the Swiss native included roles at ERNI Group Holding and Omniture GmbH in Munich, which was subsequently acquired by Adobe Systems in 2010, marking Adobe’s entry into the MarTech business. At Adobe, he continued as the Senior Manager of Account Development for EMEA. Ackermann launched his career at MARKETONE INTERNATIONAL in London, UK.
