Cologne, April 22, 2025: With this acquisition, DuMont is expanding its regional media portfolio with a fast-growing digital platform model: event organizers publish their events, users discover them in a curated way and can book tickets directly on their mobile devices – intuitive, inspiring and with high local relevance.
“Rausgegangen” will continue as an independent offering and brand. The founding team will remain on board as shareholders and continue to manage the company. At the same time, the affiliation with DuMont opens up new development prospects – for example through content and marketing cooperations with brands such as the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Kölnische Rundschau, Radio Köln and EXPRESS. The aim is to intelligently link journalistic content, local services and curated leisure and cultural offerings, create new user experiences and reach additional target groups.

We want to inspire people to go out – and help event organizers, creative artists and venues to reach their audience easily and directly. Together with Björn Kutzner (Chief Technology Officer) and Tim Jaspert (Chief Sales Officer), he continues to form the management team of “Rausgegangen”.
